Trump tweeted congratulating the S\u0026P 500 for breaking 7000 points for the first time, with a nearly 5-year compound annual growth rate of 14.5%.
BlockBeats News, January 28th, Trump tweeted to celebrate the S&P 500 index breaking through the 7000-point mark for the first time, "Historic First! The U.S. economy is back strong!!!"
According to Bitget market data, the S&P 500 index was around 1450 points in early 2000. Over the past 26 years, it has achieved an annualized return of about 6.5%, with a compound annual return including dividends of about 7.5%-8%.
In the past five years, the S&P 500 has shown strong performance, starting around 3700 points in 2021. Over the five years, it has risen by about 90%, with an annualized return of about 13.8%, and a compound annual return including dividends as high as 14.5%.
